haha i really like uncle khoo oon soo man = sharp, sweet and to the point. sounds like pri school eng teacher mrs. lee :D
sunday as usual, went to church and the service was meaningful. how we are to celebrate the death of Jesus that gives us life! anyway, the best part was the ministry. haha usually those preachers who give notes can't manage to cover even the frst page but then wah, uncle oon soo arh, finish everything before time's up leh. *clapsclaps*
my favourite topic = endtimes! well not exactly, but it was on what happens after the endtimes (: but it had much lessons and applications. even tho im busy, i still have to win souls for Him. come to think of it, i dont think im doing enough man. gotta work on that bit.
then he shared a real meaningful hymn that spoke to my heart.
Must I go, and empty handed? - Charles C. Lu-ther
"Must I go, and empty handed," Thus my dear Redeemer meet? Not one day of service give Him, Lay no trophy at His feet?
Not at death I shrink or falter, For my Saviour saves me now; But to meet Him empty handed, Thought of that now clouds my brow.
O the years in sinning wasted, Could I but recall them now, I would give them to my Saviour, To His will I'd gladly bow.
O ye saints, arouse, be earnest, Up and work while yet 'tis day; Ere the night of death o'ertake thee, Strived for souls while still you may.
"Must I go, and empty handed?" Must I meet my Savious so? Not one soul with which to greet Him, Must I empty handed go?
have you given any time to God or worse still, even saved?
for those who are having exams this week, God bless! for those whose exams are done, you lucky pigs!!!
