haha in an attempt to bring our the funness in camp i shall talk about the activities :)
monday.was on bus A and it was a 2+ hour trip to mersing. sat beside hilary and i regretted it cos his jokes were soooooo cold and lame hahahaha. ask stupid questions like "why did a bear die in the desert" then he say the honey stars bear went to space to get the "honey stars" and then on the way down his parachute didnt open and so he died and ended up in the desert -.- played some guitar with him and talked about BYMET. whooooo it sounded really exciting. but then he say next year might not have. WHAT THE HECK. i'll just pray and leave it to God haha.
reached mersing at 12.30+ and then went to our dorms. my dorm was all the p6 and sec1s. only got 1 p6. this year got like hundreds of p6 girls but only like 2 or 3 p6 guys. what a shame... yu han (p6), cedric, esmond, noah, ryan, asher, me, brandon, jong! haha we took the smallest dorm and i think ours was like the most peaceful and least smelly among the guys' dorm. haha the library one was like so many people then super smelly cos everyone hung their clothes like nobody's business.
icebreaker was quite interesting haha. and then the scissors-paper-stone- jump jump game right. walao i win so many people then got one long chain behind me. then cedric that idiot go hide one corner then challenge me then i lose -.- so he won the whole chain.
at night was the first message and after that it was a video about this guy called johnny who was completely disfigured. i cried lah. cos it was so touching.
anyway we had our first dorm d and everyone was quite quiet. but anyway we shared and taught them quite alot lah.
tuesday.woke up at 6 and did quiet time. breakfast was nasi lamek i think. anyway we had singspiration! this year's camp songs are sooooo cool lah. especially the camp song itself. compoased by the HO brothers. oh ya then hilary kept singing this really dumb song everytime he bathe.

BS was also super fruitful. half the time we were just sharing and sharing and everyday we only covered like 3 questions. hilary, levin, prime, jonathan tessensohn, me, xin an, uncle andrew.
afternoon was batik painting! and i am soooo proud to say that PURE came in first :D :D i drew the words and maria did the sheep hahahahaha.
tue night was a big night. after dinner was preach the word! 15 of us had 15 different messages of 15 different verses in philippians. reuben, brandon, lucas, marvin, xin an, jordan, nick kan, aaron toke, ren an, hilary, ryan, timothy, jonathan boon, jonathan lim, me. it was nervous and haha my hands were shaking like mad. but overall everyone did a great job lah i must say.
dorm devotion was led by cedric and ryan and it was quite meaningful.
wednesdaywoke up at 6 and wanted to go and jog in the morning. but then the guys left 5min ago so had to wait for elsia and the rest of the girls so that can go and follow the guys together. but then when we were about to run and the gates were opened it started to rain so hahaha the guys came chionging through the gates. so we didn't have our morning jog.
afternoon was station games and it was quite fun lah. everyone had to put on blindfolds and move from station to station but then along the way lucas, bryan and me sorta 'cheated' so we were walking blindfolded to each station without anyone holding us hahahaha. i thought the charades thing was cool lah. our group broke the record and completed 32 cards! :) me, lucas, yu han and joanna chia did all the drawing, acting and talking hahaha.
after dinner was night workshop and quite sad that i'm only 14 -.- so out of 5 i couldnt go to 3 cos they were for 15 and above. so went for "Gifts and gifting" by jin song. it was quite meaningful and ya, i learnt about how talents are different from gifts and how to build on my spiritual gifts.
dorm D was led by esmond and noah and noah shared quite abit and he impressed me. haha great potential man!
thursdaywoke up at 5.40 so that i wont miss the jogging. turned out to be nothing much cos we jogged at the beach outside and it was only like a 200m track so we kept turning back and forth. then ben and i decided to sweat so we raced and haha he quite fast lah actually.
afternoon we went to the beach again for games! It was just 2 games and competing with other groups lah. Crossover and Captain's Ball. Crossover was kinda cool man. our group mostly did the 4-4-1 formation then we put all the tall tall girls in front. maria, robyn, liling, joanna. second row were the tall guys timothy, chong yi, bryan and me. then the solo king was lucas HAHAHA.
got once we were playing against GOOD and then they put jonathan tessensohn, ben and ryan kwan on the first line. so our whole group shifted to the right and walked past ryan kwan cos he abit height disadvantage so cannot touch our shoulders :)
captain's ball was abit rough lah. but cos our group don't have a good guard and catcher so we lost all 3 matches...
anyway it was a fun and exciting afternoon. but at night was better.
OLYMPIC BIBLE QUIZ!
first round were william, hui qian, brandon, nat, pei xian, uncle robert. haha i watched them compete then i already so scared lorh. super competitive sia! 2nd round was me, joanna, josh, jia yin, ren an, lucius. first few questions couldnt answer so my group had 0 points for quite some time. then i was thinking that i would be the one who will sit there until the whole game ends and then my group will get kicked out. but then hahaha thank God some questions i knew how to answer so soon i was able to answer quite alot of questions and we made it to the final round :)
final round was against hui qian and william. and the good thing was that those two didn't memorise philippians so all thte "quote" and "complete this verse" questions were all given to me for free. haha so PURE owned in the quiz with 110 points. from second-last we became third :)
after that was memorising of phlippians and each group sent each representative for each chapter. mine was elsia, li ling, bryan and lucas. quite good combo lah. then after that each group sent one person to memorise the whole book (4 chapters, 100+ verses) the SIX were: rachel, nat chia, pei xian, me, josh and ren an. it was super tiring lorh. after each chapter we needed a break cos otherwise too tiring for our brains. chapter 1 and 2 everyone memorise until super smooth but come to chapter 3 and 4 we started to falter hahaha.
but whatever happened, PURE owned on thursday night :D
then there was black out! and john mark tried to scare everybody as usual. and woah the sky had so many stars!! so everyone had dorm D in the dark but thank God halfway the power came back on.
Fridayfriday was our last day of camp and ya it was very meaningful. last singspiration, last message, last BS, last lunch and so on. we shared alot and in the afternoon all the games group were preparing for camper's night. my group was very hard to act out lah. cos our people are all the study and brainy type and not the joker and acting type hahaha. but anyway we brainstormed for quite abit on the story line and practised like one time only before going for dinner.
every group did a good job for their skit, i must say. hahahaha but this year dono why everybody all become lame like hilary. especially the leader's skit lah! wah super cold.
supper was super! actually every night was super. KFC, cakes, muffins etc. and the fun in the night began.
campfire was very nice. and the sky was filled with even more stars! saw about 5 shooting stars that night lah. and we did lotsa sharing and singing.
what happened from 1am to 6am i shall not elaboarate hahahaha.
Saturdaymy bus came late cos apprently, i don't know why, the bus' battery got stolen so it was delayed for like 2 hours. so we waited at the campsite until 11.30 playing all sorts of games and listening to hilary's lame jokes. had lunch ono the way at some ulu place and the food was like oooer. reached amk at 4.30 !! super late lah.
and i almost completely lost my voice after the camp.
but the best camp ever.... is next year :)
